Short answer: For a youth team of 12 players plus 10 parents, order about 7 large pizzas (mostly cheese and pepperoni), 2 lb of garlic knots and a salad. Budget roughly $15 per person with tax.
End-of-season party, post-tournament celebration or team bonding night: pizza is the default for a reason. Here’s how to get it right.
The math
- Kids eat about 2 slices, teens and athletes 3–4, and parents 3.
- A 16-inch large has 8 slices.
- 12 players + 10 parents works out to about 54 slices, or 7 large pizzas.
| Team size | With parents | Large pizzas |
|---|---|---|
| 10 players | 8 adults | 6 |
| 12 players | 10 adults | 7 |
| 15 players | 15 adults | 10 |

What kids really eat
Mostly cheese and pepperoni. Order one specialty pie for the adults. Kids who won’t touch toppings will happily destroy a pound of garlic knots.
Allergies and dietary needs
Ask parents ahead of time. We make any pizza on a 14-inch gluten-free crust (not safe for celiac disease, since our kitchen handles wheat) and can use vegan cheese. Mark those boxes clearly.
Timing after the game
Games run long. Instead of a fixed delivery time, schedule pickup and send one parent 20 minutes before the final whistle. Order at least 24 hours ahead for big teams.
