We plan 3 slices per adult and 2 per child, then adjust for appetite and sides. A 12" medium has 6 slices, our 16" large has 8, and a 20" extra large about 12. For a mixed crowd, order at least one cheese, one pepperoni and one veggie pie for every eight people.

How many pizzas do I need per person?
Plan on 3 slices per adult and 2 per child. A 16-inch large has 8 slices, so one large feeds about 2–3 adults or 4 kids.
How many slices are in a large pizza?
Our 16-inch large is cut into 8 slices. Our 20-inch extra large is cut larger, and a 12-inch medium is best for 1–2 people.
Should I order large or extra-large pizzas for a party?
Extra-large pies give more pizza per dollar on cheese pizzas, while large pies let you offer more flavors. This calculator shows both.
